Clink261 London hostel: story from the beginning...
Clink261 youth hostel London opened its doors in 1999 under the name Ashlee House Hostel. Two Irish 'explorers' got the idea to open a hostel in London King's Cross after they themselves backpacked across the globe for a few months. They knew exactly what backpackers wanted and Ashlee House opened in just the right place at just the right time. Clink78 backpacker hostel, now its sister hostel, opened years later, just round the corner from them. Clink78 London hostel was a hit and after extensive refurbishment and reorganisation, Ashlee House became Clink261 hostel in London, part of the Clink brand: Clink hostels.
