CENTRAL LOCATIONS
Our get-up-and-go guests want to be connected to the things that matter in Europe’s most exciting cities – whether they are curious travellers, city explorers or adventure seekers.
You’ll find our two London hostels in King’s Cross – one of the cities’ main transport hubs and a vibrant cultural quarter. King’s Cross Underground / St. Pancras International is less that ten minutes’ walk away. From there you can access six tube lines, the national rail network and the Eurostar. Whether you want to explore local hot-spots like Hackney’s Broadway Market and the hip nightlife of Shoreditch, or check out some of the big attractions like Big Ben and Covent Garden, you’ll have great central base. PS: If you arrive by car, check out our FAQs for info on parking.
ClinkNOORD sits on the banks of the River IJ in Amsterdam’s Noord district. We love the cool and creative vibe of this Northern part of the city where you’ll find Europe’s biggest flea market, eco-friendly cafes and plenty of other hidden gems. Just jump on the free, five-minute ferry back to Centraal Station for easy access by bike, foot or tram to the city’s more well-known attractions like The Anne Frank House and The Rijksmuseum. And for those that got to the hostel by car and don’t know where to leave it – click here to see your options.
COVID-19 SAFE
The hostel experience will, for now, look and feel a little different. Clink is, however, committed to balancing a real concern for safety with its guests’ love for travel and its mission to bring people and places together.
We are doing all we can to keep our hostels spotless and in tip-top shape for all of our guests. Our response and control measures are based on industry best practices, government guidance, and emerging accreditation standards. If you have any concerns or specific requests with regards to our safety measures, you can read up on them right here.
SUPER SOCIAL
Anne and Shelly, Clink’s co-founders, went backpacking after University and fell in love with hostelling. The best places they stayed in were inherently social and made it easy to meet like-minded people on the road. When Anne and Shelly opened their first hostel, they made it their priority to make it a real social hub, and we’ve kept that priority at the heart of all our hostels ever since.
It makes us very happy to see guests mix and mingle, so we do everything we can to help them get together. From pool tournaments, to cooking classes, to yoga, there’s always something happening that you can get involved in. If music is your thing, then head to ClashBAR at Clink78 or ZincBAR or The Box at ClinkNOORD for live music and DJ nights.
TOTALLY EQUIPPED
Clink is more than just a bed for the night. Our hostels are set up with loads of great facilities to make sure you’ve got what you need for a great stay.
Each of our hostels has a well-equipped, self-catering kitchen so if you feel like cooking up a tasty, budget-friendly dinner, then the kitchen is available for guest use from lunchtime until midnight daily. If you’d rather someone else rustle up your grub then head to our onsite bars. ZincBAR in ClinkNOORD serves up casual, tasty grub, including small bites, burgers, pizzas and local specialities. ClashBAR in Clink78 also offers super tasty pizza’s, curries and chicken wings. There’s plenty of open-plan seating for you to enjoy your meal with friends – old or new! You’ll also find laundry rooms, chill-out lounges and flexible spaces for meetings and events.
LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
Our team are passionate about the cities they live in and they love helping guests get the most out of their stay. If you want to experience London or Amsterdam like a local then chat to one of them and they’ll be delighted to share their favourite hotspots – the best cappuccino, secret cocktail bars, and quiet places to escape the crowds – you’ll feel like you’ve seen a different side to the city.
Our TravelSHOP team has got you covered for the more well-known attractions. Check in with the team at reception for deals on tours and tickets and tips on beating the queues.
FRIENDLY
We love travelling and we’re sure you to do too. That said, we know it can sometimes get lonely – especially if you’re flying solo. Chances are, if you’ve decided to stay in a hostel, you like meeting new people. With our lively bars, relaxing social spaces and lots of in-house events, there’s plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow guests.
Our guests and our staff come from all over the world so the hostels are real cultural melting pots. The way we see it, sharing stories with people from all walks of life and making new friends is one of the greatest joys of travelling. We’re all set up to encourage those kind of connections so all you have to do is put on your best smile, and get chatting!
