On Saturday the 5th September Clink entered a team in to the Silkworth Extreme Around Jersey Challenge. The course was a relay race around the small Island of Jersey which kicked off with coasteering at 6am on the Saturday morning. The team then went on completed a 7 mile cliff path run, 5.5 mile cycle, 2.4 mile single kayak, 7.7 mile cycle, 2.7 mile double kayak, 3 mile road run, 1 mile swim, another 6.9 mile cycle and finished with a 4.1 mile run on the notoriously rugged north coast cliff paths.
18 team took part in the challenge with the aim of raising awareness for the Silkworth Lodge, a Jersey Charity helping family effected by addiction. Our boys came in 2nd and raised £500 for the charity! Well done, we were all proud of you.
