New Year’s Eve in London. One of the craziest and most celebrated nights of the year in the Big Smoke, and for good reason. Amidst fireworks and hundreds of different cultures celebrating in unique ways, between families, friends, tourists and travellers, there’s an electricity in the cold winter’s air on December 31st.

London has too many NYE parties to count, from the intimate to the extravagant, there’s guaranteed to be something to take your fancy. Things do sell out fast though so you better be quick off the mark to grab your ticket. In case you happen to miss out on our top selections, fear not! These London clubs will be hosting parties, as will almost every pub and bar around town. Not to mention the festivities taking off in Clink’s very own ClashBAR.

New Years Eve in London – Top Picks

Regression Sessions NYE Party

This London party has been sold out for 3 years, but tickets are still available for Regression Session’s 2015 NYE Party. Embrace your inner child with rooms full of ball-pits, bouncy castles and spacehoppers, and slip into something a little sillier with professional glitter makeup and facepaint on offer. A definite must, Regression runs sessions throughout the year – even if you miss this one, you can always jump on the next!

Horse & Groom NYE Spectacular

This Shoreditch bar has served the locals of Curtain Rd for over 200 years, and their Yelp reviews have only gotten better. Built where Romeo and Juliet was first performed, The Horse and Groom is also known fondly as the ‘disco-bar’. The ticket prices are less than  half of what you can expect from other trendy London parties – for a party that lasts until 6am, with live celebrity DJ’s and pub prices all night!

Angel Comedy NYE

If you don’t want to party your face off but still want to have a side-crackingly good time, then head over to Angel Comedy Club at the Camden Head. Renowned around the capital for no-holds barred, rip-roaring comedy and great drinks prices, this is a definite must for those who prefer cold beer and belly laughs over vodka mixers and sweaty nightclubs! This party is free, but there are two things to note…

1). British humour can be rather dry and slightly dark, but we love it.
2). There are TWO Camden Heads in London (one in Camden, one in Angel). For Angel Comedy Club, make sure you go to the one in Angel.

Wolf of Wall St. NYE

This party promises to be as crazy and ridiculously fun as the movie it was named after.  Its a little pricier, but with champagne giveaways, beer pong, affordable drinks, extravagant performances and a money-shower (yes, a MONEY-SHOWER) at midnight, we’d say it’s definitely a goer!  Hosted by The Qube Project, a much loved London party venue, the Wolf of Wall St. NYE also offers free celebratory New York pizza for those who make it to 2am.

London NYE Fireworks

Famous across the Globe, the London City fireworks is a breathtaking  lightshow and heart-racing way to enter into 2016. Presented at the Coca-Cola dome in conjunction with Unicef, you do have to buy tickets for the show (4 at a time) if you want a seat in one the closest viewing areas (bring your earplugs!) Alternatively, if you can miss Big Ben’s count down, you can head to Cannon Street, Southwark Bridge and Tower Bridge for close and busy but non-ticketed areas OR head over to Primrose Hill for a view of the entire city’s shows and celebrations.

Regardless of where you end up, you’ll be sure to have had an amazing time… hopefully with new friends from Clink!
