Not known for it’s tropical climate, you’d be forgiven for thinking that everyone in Amsterdam hides away inside when the winter rolls around.
We took three Clink backpackers out in Amsterdam Noord and beyond to prove that there’s plenty to keep you entertained in the winter months. The festive period may be over but we think it’s a great time to get out and explore the city. From cruising around on cool vintage bikes, tucking into delicious organic snacks, shopping in Europe’s biggest flea market and taking in Amsterdam’s festival of light, 3 backpackers got to see the best of the city in winter, and you can check out their day in out What’s Up! Amsterdam Winter Special.
