Velox Bikes
If you’re going to do Amsterdam by bike (and you should!) then you might as well do it in style. Velox are just round the corner from ClinkNOORD and have a whole range of quality, Dutch made bicycles from the 60’s and 70’s. The guys in the shop bring the vintage bikes back to life with love and care so that they’re in tip-top condition for you to whizz around the city. EYE Film Institute
Located in the Overhoeks neighbourhood, making it one of ClinkNOORD’s neighbours, The EYE is a real must for film lovers. It serves as both an archive, museum and cinema and screens both Dutch and foreign films. A permanent exhibition inhabits the basement whilst various multimedia exhibitions come and go. The building itself is architecturally stunning too, with its powerful and modern lines.

A’DAM Toren
The A’DAM Toren (or ‘tower’) is currently undergoing massive renovation. The former ‘Toren Overhoeks’ was home to Shell, the multinational oil company, until 2009. By April 2016 it will be transformed into an iconic, multifunctional tower home to several cool bars, cafes, pioneering music companies, a hotel and even a revolving restaurant …

The Brewers Canal (Brouwersgracht)
Voted the most beautiful canal in Amsterdam five years in a row. They even stopped stopped having the election because it was always clear which waterway was going to come out on top! It connects to the Princes Canal and anything in between is called the Jordan area.
Winkel
Winkel sits on a gorgeous square in front of the Noorderkerk (Nothern Church), just on the outskirts of the Jordaan district. It’s famous for its apple tart and absolutely must be tasted! The portions, with their delicious pastry, coarsely chopped apple and whipped cream, are generous and oven warm. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it! There’s an organic farmers market on in the square on Saturday mornings and a flea market on Mondays. Pie and shopping – a good combo in our books!
