Brick Lane Beigal Bake

Great for: The most delicious, freshly baked bagels in all of East London. They produce so many bagels in one day that they sell them for as little as 25p each or around £1.50 when filled with delicious deli meats.

Why go:  Brick Lane Beigal Bake is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, making it one of the best and most popular bagels shops for everyone from every walk of life to indulge in.

Rough Trade East

Great for: Old classics and modern music on vintage vinyls. They have a large selection of vinyls ranging across every genre you can think of.

Why go: Rough Trade East is more than just a music shop! Head there with your friends and take advantage of the shops seating areas, where you can sit and discuss all your music interests.

Old Spitalfields Market

Great for: Vintage fashion, the funkiest looking antiques and the most sought after jewellery, all at bargain prices that the rest of London find hard to beat!

Why go: Old Spitalfields Market is one of the biggest markets in London and has so much to offer. You can get some of the best hipster fashions and vintage looking clothing.

Poppies Fish and Chips

Great for: Traditional English fish and chips cooked in the most delicious batter and chips that could have been hand crafted by angels.

Why go: Poppies Fish and Chips is said to be one of the best fish and chip shops in all of London. However, you need to head down and try it out for yourself and see if you agree!

The Old Station Cafe

Great for: Exchanging cash for Bitcoins.

Why go: The Old Station Café is the first café in London where you can exchange your cash for Bitcoins and vice versa, as well as a great place to chill and enjoy a tea or coffee.

Great for: The best burrito in all of London.

Why go: Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen are a traditional burrito house that serve a variety of delicious South American foods. You can also enjoy some of the best cocktails, ciders and beers around.

The Macbeth

Great for: Amazing live music all year round.

Why go: As well as having some of the world’s top acts playing at different points in their careers, including Franz Ferdinand, Paloma Faith and Plan B, The Macbeth used to be the local watering hole for Charles Dickens. It is one of the best places in all of London to come and see some local acts before they make it big.

Well & Bucket

Great for: Real ales from all over the world and some wonderfully prepared sliders for you to sink your teeth into.

Why go: Hidden away in its basement, Well & Bucket has its very own amazing cocktail bar, offering up some of the best cocktails!

The Old Blue Last

Great for: an incredible atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.

Why go: The Old Blue Last is said to be the place to be for Shoreditch’s twenty-something’s and a great place to catch musicians before they make it big. After a major refurbishment in 2010, this great little East End boozer is now best known for its free live gigs in its upstairs bar, including the odd secret gig by some of the world’s biggest artists. Make sure you pop in before 6:30 when drinks are only £3 every day.
