We are searching for someone to fill the role of ​Housekeeper based in our MAMA Hostels Amsterdam. The role is part time working four morning shifts 5.5 hours per day so would be perfect for someone who is looking for casual work. You can be scheduled to work at either our EcoMAMA or CocoMAMA Hostels depending on occupancy which are not far from each other. You will join a fun and diverse team at the MAMAs who work with us while on their own travel adventure.

Role Snapshot:
Yours is a busy but key role in the MAMA Hostels, without you, our guests would be staying in untidy spaces, and we can’t have that. You are responsible for all general housekeeping tasks such as changing the linen on all beds, cleaning all shared spaces in the rooms and dorms once our guests have checked out. You will also check and clean the bathrooms to make sure they are to standard and check over the public spaces so that we give our guests a clean and comfortable space for them to relax in, just like a home away from home.

Reporting to the Hostel Management Team some of your key accountabilities will be:

  • Cleaning all guest rooms and social spaces
  • Ensuring that stock levels are maintained and we don't run low
  • That our guests have everything they need in their rooms during their stay
  • Other tasks assigned by your manager
