Pubs gardens, outdoor eating, gyms and non-essential retail can now open in England. Hostels can open no earlier than the 17th of May. Find out more about the government’s roadmap out of lockdown here.
1. Shop ’till you drop
After months of being in lockdown and wearing nothing but pyjamas or trackie bottoms, it’s high time to get yourself some new glad rags. With bars and restaurants starting to open up too, you’ll want to dress to impress. Whether you’re into vintage second-hand clothing or high street brands, London is a haven for fashionistas – you’ll have no trouble finding something you like. Just remember your mask, hand sanitiser and to keep your distance from other shoppers to keep everyone safe!
2. Visit a museum
Calling all culture vultures! After months of being closed many of London’s world-famous museums are now back open for business. Now that coronavirus restrictions have been eased it’s time to re-discover some of London’s cultural gems. Best of all, most of the museums have pulled out all the stops and put on brand new displays and exhibitions.
Clink’s Top Pick: We strongly recommend paying a visit to The Design Museum. From the humble trainers of yesteryear to sought-after retro designs and high-fashion treads, Sneakers Unboxed: Studio to Street proves there’s more to our casual footwear than simple soles

3. Visit Ally Pally’s gigantic new beer garden
Complete with panoramic views of London, street food vendors and of course a large, well-stocked bar, Alexandra Palace’s new beer garden is definitely top of our London bucket list for this summer. Best of all Alexandra Palace is just 40 mins away from Clink78 and Clink261 making it the perfect day trip for those looking to experience a different side of London. To beat the crowds it’s best to book ahead.
