What’s on
at Clink right now?
Always something worth showing up for. Clink’s hostel events are built around the city — the music, the culture, the people who make it interesting. The kind of nights you didn’t plan, and don’t want to leave.

THINGS PEOPLE ASK US A LOT
The questions we get asked most. Still stuck? We're at reception — metaphorically speaking. Drop our support team a message. We’re here to help.
What kind of events can I expect at Clink Hostels?
Free weekly events are part of every stay at Clink — movie nights, comedy shows, karaoke, cider pong and themed social nights across all properties in Amsterdam, London and Dublin. Clink NOORD Amsterdam and Clink i Lár Dublin run hostel events most days, while London follows seasonal programmes. Check with reception when you arrive to find out what’s on during your stay.
Are events only for guests staying at Clink Hostels?
Most events are for staying guests, but the hostel bars are open to everyone. Non-guests are welcome at the bar at Clink 261 in London, Clink NOORD in Amsterdam and Clink i Lár in Dublin. No booking needed — just turn up.
Do I need to sign up or pay for events in advance?
Most regular hostel events are free for guests and don’t require any booking. Some special events — external comedy shows or city tours — may have a fee or require sign-up in advance. Full details are available at reception or on the notice boards throughout the hostel. No nasty surprises.
Where can I find the latest events schedule at Clink Hostels?
The easiest way to find our hostel weekly events is to ask at reception when you arrive — they’ll know exactly what’s on. Events are also displayed on notice boards and screens throughout the hostel. For Clink NOORD Amsterdam, the what’s on schedule runs most days. You can also follow Clink Hostels on social media before your stay for a heads up on what’s coming.
I’m a solo traveller — will I feel comfortable at these events?
Yes. Clink events are designed to be easy to walk into, even if you’re on your own. Most guests at hostel social nights in Amsterdam, London and Dublin attend solo — activities like movie nights and karaoke are built around meeting people without any pressure. You’ll find your people. You always do.
What is Stay & Play at Clink Hostels?
Stay & Play is our creative residency programme at Clink NOORD in Amsterdam and Clink i Lár in Dublin. We invite musicians, artists and creatives to stay with us and contribute to the space — whether that’s a live set, workshop or something else — in exchange for a free stay. It’s about supporting the artistic community while creating experiences that bring people together.
