The building used to be a brothel…we’ll let that sink in. Now, the rooms have themes instead of secrets — Red Light dorm, Windmill room, KLM suite, Van Gogh — each one a nod to the city you’re about to explore.

Three world-class museums. One square. The Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk, all within walking distance of each other — and eight minutes from Clink COCO. Go for one. You’ll probably end up in all three.
Red Light District
Amsterdam’s most notorious neighbourhood — and practically on the doorstep. A five minute walk from Clink COCO. Make of that what you will.
Amstel River
Houseboats, bridges and canal views that make you understand why everyone moves here. A short walk from Clink COCO. Best seen from a bike, but your feet will do.
Schiphol Airport
Well connected, straightforward to navigate and less chaotic than most. Train to Centraal, then a short tram or walk to our door. Under an hour from landing to check-in. Not bad at all.

What is Clink COCO Amsterdam like?
Clink COCO is a small boutique hostel in Amsterdam Centrum, De Pijp — relaxed, homey and limited to groups of 8 or fewer. Think movie nights, games nights and communal dinners rather than a high-energy social scene. It’s the kind of place that feels more like staying with friends than checking into a hostel. One thing to note: if you’re arriving after 10pm, contact the team before 4pm on the day of arrival to arrange access.

How far is Clink COCO Amsterdam from the city centre?
Clink COCO is right in the heart of Amsterdam Centrum, De Pijp — about a 15 minute walk from the city centre. Trams at Stadhouderskade (lines 3, 4 and 12) and Frederiksplein (lines 7 and 10) are a minute away. Albert Cuyp Market and Leidseplein are both within easy walking distance. Not bad for a quiet corner of the city.

What are Clink COCO's check-in and check-out times?
Check-in at this hostel in Amsterdam Centrum is from 4pm. Check-out is by 10am. Arriving after 10pm? Contact Clink COCO before 4pm on the day of arrival and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to get in — no one left standing on the doorstep. Late checkout may be available for an extra charge. Online check-in is available via your booking confirmation.

Does Clink COCO Amsterdam have luggage storage?
Yes. Dorm guests have in-room lockers — bring a padlock. Paid luggage lockers are also available: medium €4–10, large €5–11 depending on duration. Clink MAMA nearby has electronic lockers too — just mention your Clink COCO stay when you arrive and they’ll sort you out.

Does Clink COCO Amsterdam have a kitchen and café?
Yes. Clink COCO has a self-catering kitchen and communal café with coffee and tea on site — perfect for keeping costs down and meeting your fellow guests over breakfast. No on-site bar or restaurant, but sister hostels Clink MAMA and Clink NOORD are nearby when you want something more.
